I know this post is Super late, but today has been a hectic organizational day. But that’s a whole- nother post for tomorrow.
Yesterday we went to downtown Cleveland to visit my mom at work and have lunch with her. Pretty much so she could show off her grandbaby to all her friends at work. Lets be honest.
But it was nice to get out of the living room and be social for a few hours and meet some of my moms co-workers. Recently I’ve been feeling like I’ve been hibernating. Grant it, it’s freezing here and I don’t want to take Caden out in the cold. But even at home it’s still hard to get out because nap time is VERY precious to me these days, especially since CK hasn’t been sleeping that great. In fact he’s sleeping on me right now as I type … multi tasking at its finest.
I’m not sure what’s going on with him but hoping to figure it out as soon as we get home.
We have one more day here and then we start our journey back home. I’m really Looking forward to seeing my long lost hubby! It’s been way too long!
Yesterday I bought this Vtech walker for Caden since he’s starting to balance on his own now.
I brought it home and he tried it out but couldn’t walk behind it unless I held on to it. But even then his one foot would drag and he was super wobbly. Oh, well at least he liked playing with the front.
But this morning I was sitting on the ground with him and all of a sudden he just crawled right up to the walker, stood up on it and just started walking. My mouth dropped to the floor. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I fumbled with my phone and tried recording it and of course I see …
NOT ENOUGH STORAGE SPACE
Ahh!!! NOOOOO. Daddy NEEDS to see this.
So for the next half hour I followed him around until I caught it on video
Can you believe this? I’m just in awe on how quickly he picked it up. I mean less then 24 hours ago he wasn’t able to do this at all and now he’s acting like he does this all the time. It truly amazes me how fast he learns and develops. I just had to share because I’m still in shock.
I give him a month before he starts walking … What’s your guess?
As you may have read yesterday one thing I learned this past weekend was that one of my friends told me he thought it was cheesy and stupid that I blogged. It didn’t upset me and I didn’t take offensive at all (which actually surprised me; usually when I’m passionate about something I get pretty [...]

We are finally here in this lovely, blistering cold state of Ohio! We left for our road trip yesterday at about 430am. I figured it would be best to try and leave as early as possible so Caden would sleep most of the way. I was right. He ended up sleeping the majority of [...]
It’s that time again to pack up and hit the road. I woke up this morning with every intention of writing a Food For Baby post but then realized I’m leaving tomorrow morning and still need to pack myself, my kid and my dog for this long haul up north. I’m a little nervous … [...]

Don’t you hate that whenever you really need your baby to nap they refuse. And of course the days that you don’t care, they sleep for HOURS. Yesterday was a packed day for us and of course CK refused to take his morning nap which I thought was going to make the rest of the [...]
