Update coming soon: … we have our appointment in a couple of hours.
See ya soon!

Update:
We just got back from our 38 week appointment. We had an ultrasound done for a cyst that is on one of my ovaries. They wanted to get a better look at it and see what it has done since my last ultrasound which was at around 20 weeks. If I happen to have a c-section they would probably take it out but if not, then they’ll be following up with me for my post-natal appointment and we’ll decide what to do with it then.
The ultrasound this time wasn’t very clear, his head would take up the whole screen and you couldn’t really tell what we were looking at. But she did say that he is weighing 6lbs. 13oz. His heart rate was good and my amniotic fluid is good as well.
We then went to see the doctor and he checked me and I’ve made some progress but nothing to write home about. I’m 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So what’s this mean … nothing really. Some women walk around dilated 1 cm for weeks others for a day. So still in the same boat. I did ask how far along they start talking about inducing labor. They said they won’t let me go the full two weeks after my due date but they would probably start talking about inducing at 41 weeks. So it could be any day up to 4 weeks … ho hum~
We go for another check up next week. Until then … we wait

LOL…I am going to be 39 weeks on Thursday and asked all the same questions. My Dr didn’t even check to see if I am dilated because she said, like you mentioned above, that it’s not going to tell me anything! It’s all a waiting game at this point. GOOD LUCK!!!!

They said if I end up having to have a c-section they would take it out then, if not then I will have to go back after and follow up with it. It could burst during delivery it could not so just depends. But right now it’s not a huge concern.
Yes, progress is progress but I want answers damn it! ha-ha!
Hi Susan, you must have delivered by now, and I must say Congratulations must be in order. I still have like 8 weeks to go, so I am wading around like a duck anf feeling very swollen.

Hi Winnie! Yes, I have delivered … 8 weeks to go huh? Not too much longer for you. It goes quick but I’m sure you are already ready for your little one. Congratulations! Luckily the waddling goes away quickly after delivery
Best of luck!!
