Well … still here 
We just got back from our appointment – (it’s going to be a quick update, because well we’re still waiting … )
We are 39 weeks today, a week till our due date. I honestly think my due date is actually today – but that will be for a later post. But doctors due date is next week.
My blood pressure was a little high, the doctor wasn’t too concerned. I just need to keep an eye on myself and if I swell, have headache or just feel bad I should have my bp checked. But I haven’t had any issues with my BP so I’m not too concerned.
I am dilated about 2cm.
80% effaced.
He’s lower then he was last week.
The doctor said that I am looking pretty good, most women aren’t even dilated or anything yet so me being at a 2 is a good sign that I hopefully won’t need to be induced. They did a sweep, this sometimes helps to jump start labor. It’s a way of naturally inducing you, however it only works if the baby is ready. So sometimes women go into labor the following night, others are still pregnant long after. If nothing happens this week we go back next week and we schedule an induction date. I’m praying we go soon, because I really do not want to be induced if I don’t have to be.
So we wait … Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock …

Sounds like a good check up and hopefully te sweep will kick start things! You’re doing great… Not much longer!!

Hang in there momma. I am so there with you. Thursday I am 40 weeks…went to the Dr today and she didn’t check me because she said it wouldn’t tell us much anyway. I’m just ‘PATIENTLY’ waiting to meet my lil guy! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and your labor/delivery!
