Nate’s sister Taylor is in town until Wednesday she’s been here a week so far and we have done some pretty cool things. Nate was working and Taylor and I went to Carowinds. I have not gone to an amusement park is SO long. It was a lot of fun and it gave us a chance to get to know each other better. I couldn’t get her on the big roller coasters which I love but she did go on the hilly ones.
She also came with me to my first dress fitting, it was nice to have a “future” family member there with me. I was really nervous for some reason but it all went perfect and I have my next appointment next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
The next thing we did was take her out to Lake Norman and have her try some wakeboarding. She got a hang of it pretty well.We hung out on the lake and went to dinner… it was nice.
The following morning we went to White Water Rafting Center, where they have adventure courses and man made river to go white water rafting. It was really cool, except now I can’t wait to do the real thing. They had some pretty intense rapids though and luckily we all stayed in the boat. www.usnwc.org
Oh, we also went and saw Get him to Greek, hilarious movie .. It is up there with the Hang Over for sure. I have only cried laughing at 3 movies so far. One being Dumb and Dumber when it first came out, Hang Over and Get him to Greek. I really didn’t like Russell Brand before this movie but he is actually growing on me after seeing this. I hated him at the MTV Movie awards… but he’s pretty funny.
Now we are coming down to Tay’s last couple days here in the Main Island before she heads back to her paradise, tonight we are going to check out one of our friends new homes. She just moved in and she’s having a little cookout. And of course we’ll probably hit up some Olive Garden tomorrow since they don’t have it over in Hawaii.
Overall, it’s been a good time and I’m very happy she came out. Keep an eye out for the soon to come video.
