Featured Friday: Apptivity Case

Thanks guys for the sweet comments on my Operation 108 post! I feel great, more so because I reached my goal. I love that “accomplished” feeling you get after you reach a goal that you set. Did you know that today is 11-11-11; isn’t that awesome. Since it’s 11-11-11 all day … do you get to have a whole day of wish making?

Featured Friday is a series dedicated to products, people and places that I think everyone should know about.

As I was strolling through Babies R Us the other day trying to pick out a couple of toys to give Caden on the plane, I stumbled upon this Apptivity Case for your iphone or ipod touch.

I don’t know about you guys but Caden likes my phone and if we are out to dinner or if he starts getting fussy at the store; I’ll give him my phone and put on one of his apps. He loves it and it keeps him entertained at least for a little while. The problem is that he drools all over it, drops it on the floor and presses buttons. He’s even gotten on facebook somehow and wrote a comment on one of my friends walls. It consisted of thsoghs .. something along those lines.

This is basically childproofing your phone so your baby can enjoy the apps and you don’t have to worry about your phone getting all messed up.

I tested this out and gave it to Caden, it’s made to hide the home button so they can’t get out of their app. It still has the touchable screen so they can interact with it and it looks bullet proof with all the stuff around it.

The true test … it held up to spit up. Caden spit up all over it and my phone was totally fine.

An even bigger bonus it has a mirror on the back which Caden loves because well … he’s pretty into himself right now. :)

This will be perfect for the plane, I even downloaded some new apps for him and a couple of TV shows.

When your out with your kids and you need just a little bit more time, what’s your “go to” toy?

Please share the apps that you have on your phone for him — I am going to be needing those in a few months!!

LOVE that cool little toy! And no worries about the mirror… Hailey is pretty into herself right now, too. Are we raising vain kids?? ;)

That is so cool!!! All 3 of my kids love the iTouch that I have and my husband’s iPhone, but neither one is 3 year old proof…

That is so cute! I can’t wait to hear how Caden does on the long flights as we are flying several times the next couple of months. She was super easy at 8 weeks – so hopefully it will be the same! Have a blast on your trip!
