A Little Story to Make You Smile
Instead of the typical What I Learned this Weekend, I wanted to share a little story with you.
First let’s set the scene. It was Sunday night and Caden had just finished his dinner. He had some pasta with some pears and applesauce. I wiped his hands and face off and took him out of his highchair so he could go play in the living room while I cleaned up the kitchen. He instantly started playing with his fire truck (he loves that thing) and I noticed his diaper was a little saggy. So I went to go change him. 1.) It’s an absolute struggle to get a diaper on this boy and 2.) Caden has a little bit of diaper rash so I’ve been letting him run around diaper-less to air himself out a bit. So back to the fire truck he went .. diaper-less.
Meanwhile Nate went to take the trash out and I went back to loading the dish washer.
So here I am washing dishes like the good ‘ole wife I am and Nate comes back in and says “What happen here, what is that?” and pointed to the floor. I looked over and saw something on the floor and it was like smeared. At first glance I thought it was spit up, then I thought maybe Kala threw up or something. After a triple take; I was like Oh, shit … Nate’s like what? what it is?” while he’s heading over to get a paper towel.
I looked around the corner and said “Oh my God” and I just started laughing in disbelief.
Caden, still playing with his fire truck was slipping and sliding trying to stand up in his POOP! He pooped all over the floor. I could see tire tracks and footprints from where he was walking. It was all over his legs, his shirt, his arms and his truck. I mean it was EVERYWHERE. I almost died laughing.
I held him out under his arms and took him all the way upstairs to the bathtub.
Now that’s a shitty situation!!

I actually ate my poo when I was 1 yr old. I had taken off my nappie and my mum was wondering why things were so quiet…. haha! Shi* happens!
