Let’s Get Organized: Cleaning Supply Closet {Before}

November 1, 2012 | By More

Halloween 2012 was definitely a success! I woke up this morning thinking it was Sunday all the way up until 10am and realized that today was Thursday and CK had school! But it didn’t matter because CK wasn’t going to school today either way. He woke up with a really bad rash and we’re headed to the Drs. this afternoon to figure out where it’s coming from. November isn’t starting off the way I like but I’m SO very excited about this month! It’s going to be a fantastic month, I can already tell. Not to mention it’s my birthday month and Thanksgiving which we’ll be hosting this year so it going to be so much fun! :-).

But enough about that, back to reality and organizing this home. We finally got the pantry all done; now it’s on to our next project.

When we found this house we were thrilled and fell in love right away. There are so many great qualities about this home. But I was more so thrilled about the little things. I almost died seeing the Laundry room. I’ve never had a laundry room so I was beyond excited. But then I saw the cleaning supply closet and I almost fell over! WHAAAATTT! I don’t have to put our cleaners under the kitchen sink? I don’t have to put the vacuum in the coat closet!!!! Over. The. Moon. I tell ya! But as you can see below it needs a little work. I need some type of organization with all these cleaners and cleaning supplies.

I would like to get some type of broom holder or something to get all my mops and brooms off the floor.

I would also love to have some organization with all the cleaning supplies and find a place to put our toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, etc.

Hmmmmmm What to do?

Got any great ideas?

    Looks to me like you need to purge, my friend! Throw away!! Then I’d use those three buckets you already have and divide them up by room – bathroom / kitchen / other – I also like to buy bulk at BJs and then put them into smaller containers for each rooms bucket. Good luck! Can’t wait to see the results.
