Munchkin Meals: Quick and Easy
This week Munchkin Meals is focused on the easy, go to foods for the little ones. I have to say my life has been quite hectic these last couple of weeks and I’ve been dropping the ball on everything. I mean everything. Including dinner. I get like this from time to time when I’m feeling really overwhelmed. It’s like I almost shut down because I don’t even know where to start. Needless to say I’ve been doing a lot of “easy” meals, so this topic is right up my alley!

Spaghetti with Veggies.

I definitely have those weeks! I was in a funk this summer and tired of cooking, and then we visited family for two weeks where I didn’t cook once the entire time! I came back ready to be creative again.
Great quick meal ideas! We do a lot of the same- we also love frozen waffles, easy tortilla roll-ups (pinwheels) and mini-pizzas.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I hate getting in these funks! But you’re right sometimes I think we just need a break and then when we come back we’re ready to rock n roll again! I never thought about pinwheels or mini pizzas; great ideas!
You know what, we have not done cereal with milk yet! Great idea! Though I’m kind of afraid most of it will end up on the floor :/

I was a little nervous too, but at first I was putting such little milk in the bowl that by the time he was ready to fling his bowl across the room; the cereal already soaked up all the milk
