Patterson Farm 2012

October 15, 2012 | By More

We planned to go to Patterson Farm and get pumpkins and enjoy all the activities but because there is so much stuff to do at Patterson Farm we decided to let CK have some fun rather then focus on picking out pumpkins. Let’s just say a lot has changed in the last year. Last year we went to Patterson Farm when CK was only 4 months old and this year CK is 16 1/2 months old and mobile. Very, very mobile! So needless to say the only pictures we get these days are action shots :) .

Peak a Boo!

I don’t want to sit I want to GO!!!

Mommy, what in the world are these big orange things?

Pushing this bike is fun!

Silly Dadda, he’s putting Corn on my head!

Corn is so fun!!!!

Doggies … Doggies (He kept calling the ponies doggies :) )

After all of the excitement of feeding the animals, chasing some ducks and playing all over the farm this boy was too tired to jump on the hayride to get pumpkins, so we are saving our trip to the pumpkin patch for a little later.

After his long nap we were off to the Mooresville Chili Cook-off  where we got to taste test some amazing chili!  They had live music and big bouncers for the kids. Caden got in his first bounce house and loved it! I love fall festivities. PS: you see that green tent on the left, we voted for them, they had the best chili! YUM I wish I had some right now on this gloomy rainy day!

What is your favorite thing to do during fall?

Love the pictures! We went yesterday but didn’t get to spend much time because we hit up Lazy 5 Ranch too. I think we would have enjoyed the activities at Patterson better…..maybe we’ll try again. Too bad Dan didn’t know a out the chili-cookoff….he would have loved to participate!

Does Lazy Ranch do a pumpkin / fall thing too? I’ve been wanting to take CK back now that he’s a little older. Although I don’t know if he would stay on that wagon the whole time? I didn’t even think about that; Dan would have def. loved it!

We went later that same day and had a blast. Riley loved the pony ride and chasing the ducks as well. I totally forgot about that Chili Cook Off- it did sound fun! Oddly enough, I made a huge pot of chili for Sunday football! Glad you guys had fun, too!
