We are here in the beautiful Queen City AKA Charlotte, North Carolina. We are in town for the weekend for Matt and Allison’s Wedding. I haven’t written in a couple days because we have been crazy busy trying to get all of our stuff together and get errands taken care of. I’ve been on the phone with wedding vendors trying to get them lined up for next week! I will be happy once all of our vendors are picked out, contracts signed and deposits made.
It was funny when we were coming into Charlotte we saw the skyline, it seemed SO small. Living in South Beach and seeing Miami’s sky line was insane! Miami has a beautiful sky line but it’s just funny how people get use to something and then it never crosses their mind. When we lived here in Charlotte I always thought “oh it’s not that small” but then we traveled to San Fran and Miami and even Atlanta .. it is tiny tiny compared to other big cities! I love Charlotte, you get that big city feel but it’s small and convenient! Nate and I have always said that if we end up back in Charlotte we’ll be up by Lake Norman. Lake Norman is SO much fun in the summer and beautiful. You can go wakeboarding, tubing, or simply just boating. They say that if you stretched out Lake Norman’s shore line it would go from Lake Norman all the way up to Chicago! Pretty Big huh?
Well that is it for now … I’ll post some pictures after this weekend … it should be a crazy one!
