I don’t know about you guys but whenever I have weird dreams I always wonder what it’s all about. These last 2 weeks I have had the weirdest dreams and they are very vivid and pertain to babies and puppies. Of all things Babies and Puppies. Not so much about wedding bells .. but Babies and Puppies.
I am really good at remembering my dreams when I wake up, some people can’t remember them at all. But I usually don’t jump out of bed so I sit there thinking about the dream I just had. These last couple weeks have been some of the craziest. One night, I had a dream that I had a baby but by the end of the dream the baby had turned into a puppy. The puppy was mine for sure but not so sure the baby was mine. Another dream I had was I was somewhere with a bunch of kids around and I had a nephew it was my brothers kid, he was the cutest thing ever, and very independent, happy child. He was about 2 – 3 years old. I was just watching him and playing with him a bit. Then I woke up and kind of disappointed that it wasn’t true because he was seriously the cutest thing in the world with red head. The other night I had a dream Nate brought home 5 baby puppies. At first I thought it was cool because I love puppies then reality set in and I was freaking out and telling people oh my gosh we have 7 dogs now. I was telling Nate we had to get rid of some and he didn’t want to.
I personally thought well I’m on Facebook all day with my job (social media manager) so I see everyone’s post about their kids and that they are on round 2 or 3 or 10. So I thought maybe that is where all this baby stuff is coming from. I know I’m not pregnant so that can’t be it. And the one about the puppies with Nate, well that night I watched Animal Hoarders for the first time and thought well maybe that is where I came up with that one, Nate was an animal hoarder for a night lol! My friend Nicole said she had heard that when you dream about babies someone in your life is going to die. Well, that freaked me out especially since I’m getting married in a month.
So I decided to do some research on exactly what babies and puppies in dreams mean. Apparently I’m not weird and they are quite common. Luckily I didn’t see anything about deaths. So, phew … everyone who knows me can rest assure they won’t be dying anytime soon.
I checked a bunch of different sites, and the majority of them said that having a baby in your dreams means something in your life is being created, brand new start to something. That babies can symbolize a new beginning. Hence, babies being so young. Crying babies can symbolize poor health or disappointment, a bright, clean baby denotes love requited and many warm friends. In all of my dreams all the babies were smiley, happy babies so at least I know I’m not disappointed and having the wedding coming up; there will be lots of family and friends around us. So that makes sense. A baby walking alone is a sign of independence. The dream about my brothers unborn 3 year old was walking alone, still around others but standing by his self. All who knows me, well I’ve always been independent ever since I was a baby myself. If in the dream you are nursing a baby you will be deceived by the ones you love most, I found that very interesting but no worry over here ..no nursing business going on in my dreams. A baby can also symbolize your own inner nature that is pure and uncorrupted. A baby can also symbolize a want for a child.
As for puppies, to see a puppy in your dream symbolizes playfulness and carefree nature … to have a dream about a liter of puppies is indicative about the amount of time that an idea has been developing or will take to develop; your suppose to look at the number to give you the approximate time. (5)
So after researching and finding all this stuff on having dreams about a baby I feel like it’s a horoscope. It’s so broad that anyone can put their life in these “meanings”, but it tells you to use these as a guideline and look at your life and figure out what is going on. So I did just that …and here is what I came up with.
If a baby means a new beginning it could mean two things, my business (which is relatively new and very important to me) or my wedding and starting a new life with Nate as my husband which I’m very excited about. I have been pretty focused on the wedding and my business so that is two major possibilities. I completely agree with the babies being independent because that is exactly like me, So I do believe that, as for the simple maybe I just want a baby; could be – as much as we do want children; we aren’t looking to jump on board the baby boat just yet. I see it being in God’s hands and he’ll bless us when the time is right. Until then, going with the flow and focusing on our businesses is what we have talked about doing. So I don’t believe it’s that I overall think these crazy dreams are a mixture coming from us getting married in a month and our lives changing forever, and starting a new life together. As well as my business and being so independent with it and starting to watch it take off and realizing that this is also a new beginning of my life and career. As for the puppy part which is kind of freaky but when I did have that dream we were about 5 weeks out until we leave for the wedding. That’s weird.
Or it could simply be that we have been eating dinner really late lol!
